The Honeysuckle perfume from the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a floral solinote that is sweet and fresh at the same time. The common name (caprifolium) derives from the Latin and is composed of two terms: “goat” and “folium” (goat and leaf). Probably this diction derives from the fact that goats use to browse the leaves of some species of this genus. In the symbolism of flowers it means "sweetness of nature" and, due to its tendency to wrap itself around everything it encounters, it is also considered the symbol of "loving bonds", as the legend of Tristan and Isolde attests << As happens to honeysuckle that sticks to the core .. [..] but then when you try to separate them, the core immediately dies along with the honeysuckle. "Friend, what about us: not you without me, not me without you." >>
