"Nuptials (1938) by Albert Camus is one of my favorite texts: the author vividly illustrates the summer, the rites of youth in Tipasa with its Roman ruins and the sea as a background enhance the nature and beauty of the bodies under the sun.

Camus's words echo in my perfumer's head and my mind wanders among the ruins between sea and mountains, listing the Algerian flora: bergamot, wild lemongrass, peppermint, Mediterranean pine and Chinese date in the sun-blackened landscape. Diving into the water from the rocks, one morning in Tipasa ..... "P.G.
